Nicola joined Habanero in 2009 as a Principal Consultant. She has experience in both the public and private sectors leading a variety of operational teams – from running a development programme in the City of London to heading Finance for a county council.  She understands the challenges of leading large, complex teams through transformational change from a leader’s perspective and brings that hands-on experience to her work as a consultant, supporting leaders through their own change journeys.

She says: “I have seen much change in the public sector, both successful and unsuccessful, and I believe that leadership, clear purpose and strong support are key to making change stick.”

Nicola is passionate about building relationships of trust with leaders to support and coach them to achieve their visions.

Nicola helps organisations get close to their customers to see how they perform from their customers’ perspective.

She says: “Understanding the issues that your customers face in getting the outcomes that they want is key to seeing the waste in your organisation. Once we have uncovered the waste we can drive it out, making the system deliver better results for customers and saving significant amounts of money.”
