She believes in looking at what appear to be difficult and intractable organisational problems from a simple perspective, stripping away complexity – to take it right back to standing in the shoes of the customer. “What I have found is that what customers are asking for is often quite straightforward, but frequently organisations manage to turn this into a complex, sometimes chaotic and expensive response to their demand”.
